Ingredients

  • 1 head Romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups Sourdough bread, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the croutons by tossing the sourdough bread cubes with melted butter, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Make the dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  5. Toss the chopped romaine lettuce with the dressing until coated.
  6. Add the crispy croutons on top and grate fresh Parmesan cheese over the salad.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
