Description

A delightful combination of crunchy broccoli, sweet apples, and toasted sunflower seeds, dressed with yogurt and honey for a refreshing salad.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 medium apples, diced
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the broccoli florets under running water and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Wash the apples, remove the core, and dice them into small pieces.
  3. Toast the sunflower seeds in a small skillet over medium heat for about 3 to 5 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, diced apples, and toasted sunflower seeds. Pour the yogurt dressing over the top and toss gently.
  6. Cover and let chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
