Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine the blackberries with 1/2 cup of sugar and set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and remaining 1/2 cup of sugar.
- Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
- Spoon the blackberries over the batter without mixing.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Allow to cool slightly and serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
Notes
