These Red Velvet White Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy, and loaded with creamy white chocolate chips. With their vibrant red color and rich cocoa flavor, they’re the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day or any time you crave something indulgent.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tbsp milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp red food coloring

1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

4. Add the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and red food coloring; beat until combined.

5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.

6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.

7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.

8. Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are set and centers look slightly soft.

9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a deeper red hue, adjust the amount of food coloring as desired.

Add a handful of chopped macadamia nuts for extra texture.

Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for longer storage.
