Description

A delightful dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich buttery sauce infused with honey and spices, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. Add chicken broth to the skillet to deglaze, stirring to mix any drippings.
  4. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until the sauce is smooth and warm.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes to absorb flavors.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
