Description

A hearty one-pan meal combining ground beef and cabbage, perfect for a quick and budget-friendly dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups cabbage, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and break it apart with a spatula while it cooks. Brown evenly, around 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until it wilts, about 5 minutes.
  5. Season with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper, mixing everything together well.
  6. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to tenderize the cabbage and let the flavors meld.
  7. Serve hot, optionally with bread, sour cream, hot sauce, or over rice.

Notes

Use lean ground beef for a lighter dish. Customize with your favorite veggies or seasonings.
