- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 6 oz strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and sugar in a large bowl and mix well.
- Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form a crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool completely.
- Beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups boiling water and stir until fully dissolved.
- Stir in sliced strawberries and allow to cool slightly.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer and chill for at least 4 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
Notes
For best flavor, enjoy within the first two days. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
