Ingredients
2 flatbreads or naan
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup ricotta cheese (or goat cheese for tangier flavor)
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp lemon zest
Fresh basil or mint leaves, chopped
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Place flatbreads on the sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
3. Spread ricotta evenly over each flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
4. Arrange strawberry slices on top and drizzle lightly with honey.
5. Sprinkle with lemon zest, salt, and black pepper.
6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are crisp and cheese is slightly golden.
7. Remove from oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze if using.
8. Top with fresh basil or mint before slicing and serving.
Notes
Add a handful of arugula after baking for a peppery contrast.
For a savory twist, use burrata or feta and a drizzle of olive oil instead of honey.
