  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add 12 oz of pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
  3. Whisk together 1/4 cup honey, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and 1/4 cup soy sauce in a small bowl until well combined.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the browned sausage in the skillet, stirring well to coat. Allow to simmer for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Toss the drained pasta into the skillet with the sausage and sauce, gently mixing to coat.
  6. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
