Instructions
- Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
- Add Water: Gradually stir in the water until a rough dough starts to form.
- Incorporate Garlic and Rosemary: Add in the chopped rosemary and minced garlic.
- Knead the Dough: Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Let the Dough Rise: Cover and let it rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
- Preheat the Oven: About 30 minutes before ready, preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- Shape the Loaf: Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place on a baking sheet.
- Rest Again: Allow the shaped dough to rest for another 30 minutes.
- Score and Bake: Score the top and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool and Slice: Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
