Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease a muffin tin with olive oil or non-stick spray.
  3. Mix the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the olive oil and water to the dry ingredients, then add the minced garlic and chopped fresh rosemary.
  5. Combine the mixture until it forms a slightly sticky dough.
  6. Fill the muffin tin cups about two-thirds full with the dough.
  7. Add a sprinkle of coarse sea salt on top of each muffin.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool the muffins slightly in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Fresh garlic and rosemary give the best flavor. Customize by adding cheese or olives.
