Description
These Perfectly Cheesy Parmesan Mozzarella Bites are crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and irresistibly snackable! Made with a mix of two cheeses, these golden, bite-sized appetizers are perfect for parties, game nights, or anytime cravings strike.
Ingredients
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs (Italian seasoned or plain)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
Vegetable oil, for frying
Marinara sauce, for dipping
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, combine mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, then shape into small bite-sized balls or cubes.
2. Place flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in three separate shallow bowls.
3. Season the breadcrumbs with garlic powder and black pepper.
4. Coat each cheese bite first in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. For extra crispiness, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating.
5. Place the coated bites on a tray and freeze for 15–20 minutes to firm up.
6. Heat oil in a deep skillet or saucepan over medium heat (about 350°F / 175°C).
7. Fry cheese bites in batches for 1–2 minutes, turning until golden brown.
8. Remove and drain on paper towels.
9. Serve immediately with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Use a mix of mozzarella and provolone for an even cheesier flavor.
Bake instead of frying — 400°F for 10–12 minutes — for a lighter option.
These freeze beautifully; fry straight from frozen when ready to serve for easy entertaining.
