- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar and bourbon until well combined.
- Pour the caramel mixture into a 9-inch round cake pan, then arrange the sliced peaches evenly over the caramel.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the granulated sugar and remaining butter until fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter over the peach arrangement in the cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
