- 12 oz (340g) pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet or pot over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook for about 5-6 minutes until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for an additional minute.
- Pour in beef broth and milk, stirring to combine.
- Add pasta and Italian seasoning, ensuring pasta is mostly submerged.
- Bring to a gentle simmer, cover partially, and cook for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat, stir in parmesan cheese and butter until melted and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding milk or broth if needed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
This dish pairs well with garlic bread or a crisp side salad. For a richer taste, use heavy cream instead of milk.
