Description
A bright, metabolism-friendly brew of green tea, fresh ginger, lemon, and raw apple-cider vinegar that takes five minutes to make and feels like a mini spa ritual in a mug.
Ingredients

- 1 cup (240 ml) filtered water
- 1 tsp loose-leaf sencha green tea
- ½ inch fresh ginger finely grated
- 1 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp raw, unfiltered apple-cider vinegar
- 1 tsp raw honey or 4–5 liquid stevia drops (to taste)
- 1 Tiny pinch Tiny pinch pink sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Heat water to about 175 °F / 80 °C—just off the boil.
- Place green tea and grated ginger in the strainer; set over the mug.
- Pour hot water through the strainer and steep exactly 3 minutes.
- Remove strainer. Stir in lemon juice and apple-cider vinegar.
- Add honey or stevia; swirl until dissolved. Taste and, if desired, pinch in sea salt to round the acidity.
- Garnish with the lemon wheel and ginger coin. Sip while warm, or cool and serve over ice.
Notes
Swap lemon for orange and add one whole clove for a winter version.
Cold-brew: combine all ingredients in cold water, steep 6 hours in the fridge, strain, then sweeten.
Keto: replace honey with ½ tsp monk-fruit syrup.
