Instructions

- Add the vegetable oil, vanilla extract, white vinegar, and water to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Incorporate the melted dark chocolate into the batter until fully combined.
- Fill each cupcake liner with the batter, filling them about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Cool the cupcakes in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Make the frosting by beating together melted chocolate, softened butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Frost the cooled cupcakes generously with the chocolate frosting.
