- 1 cup heavy cream

- 4 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- Add sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until soft and browned (5-7 minutes).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sautéed mushrooms, diced chicken, heavy cream, half of the shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through and casserole is bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
