Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (dark or milk)
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 23 Tbsp maple syrup or powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp coconut flour or almond flour (optional)
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Muffin Tin: Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted.
  3. Create the Chocolate Base: Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of the melted chocolate into each muffin cup, spreading it slightly up the sides. Freeze for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Make the Peanut Butter Mixture: Stir together peanut butter, maple syrup (or powdered sugar), and sea salt in a bowl. Add flour if using.
  5. Fill with Peanut Butter: Scoop about 1 teaspoon of the peanut butter mixture onto each chocolate base.
  6. Top with More Chocolate: Spoon the remaining melted chocolate over the peanut butter, ensuring everything is covered.
  7. Set Again: Return the muffin tin to the freezer for another 15–20 minutes or refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  8. Serve: Peel off the liners and enjoy your homemade chocolate peanut butter cups!
