Description
Delightful muffins featuring the bold flavors of garlic and rosemary, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- Coarse sea salt for topping
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let the dough rise in a covered bowl for about 1 hour, until it doubles in size.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin with olive oil or cooking spray.
- After the dough has risen, punch it down gently to release the air. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Place each ball of dough into the prepared muffin cups.
- Sprinkle minced garlic and chopped rosemary on top of each muffin. Then, finish with a sprinkle of coarse sea salt.
- Bake the muffin tin in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
- Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool down completely before serving.
Notes
Allow dough enough time to rise for the best flavor and texture. Experiment with toppings for different flavors.
