Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 23 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • Coarse sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  2. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth. Let the dough rise in a covered bowl for about 1 hour, until it doubles in size.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a muffin tin with olive oil or cooking spray.
  4. After the dough has risen, punch it down gently to release the air. Divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape each piece into a ball. Place each ball of dough into the prepared muffin cups.
  5. Sprinkle minced garlic and chopped rosemary on top of each muffin. Then, finish with a sprinkle of coarse sea salt.
  6. Bake the muffin tin in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool down completely before serving.
