- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 package cake mix (yellow or white)
- 2 cans strawberry pie filling (21 ounces each)
- 8 oz cream cheese (sliced thin)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, melt 1/2 cup of butter until liquid.
- Combine the dry cake mix with the melted butter, stirring until the mixture is crumbly.
- Pour the strawberry pie filling into the prepared baking dish evenly.
- Lay the sliced cream cheese on top of the strawberry filling.
- Evenly distribute the crumbly cake mixture over the cream cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the cake sit for about 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
