A delightful and nutritious pasta salad combining tuna, dill, and shell pasta, perfect for lunch or picnics.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 9 oz tuna (drained and flaked)
  • 3 celery ribs (finely diced)
  • 1/4 cup red onion (finely diced)
  • 1.5 cup peas (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Dill (fresh or dried, to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta by boiling salted water and adding shell pasta. Cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Prepare ingredients by chopping celery, dicing red onion, and flaking tuna.
  3. Mix the dressing by combining mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard, and dill. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combine everything by adding cooled pasta to the dressing and folding in the tuna, celery, onion, and peas.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  6. Refrigerate covered for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Serve on greens, in sandwiches, or alongside grilled meats.
