1 garlic clove, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chili flakes or sumac for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
2. Add sliced cucumbers and chopped mint (and dill if using).
3. Toss gently until cucumbers are evenly coated in the creamy yogurt mixture.
4. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
5. Sprinkle with chili flakes or sumac just before serving for a burst of flavor.
Notes
For extra crunch, add thinly sliced red onions or radishes.
Use labneh or strained yogurt for a thicker texture.
Pairs perfectly with grilled meats, kebabs, or spicy dishes to balance the heat.
