Description
This crispy flatbread combines creamy brie, juicy pears, toasted pecans, and a drizzle of honey — the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and crunchy for an elegant appetizer or light meal.
Ingredients
1 flatbread (store-bought or homemade)
4 oz brie cheese, sliced
1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
1/4 cup toasted pecans, roughly chopped
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tsp olive oil
Pinch of sea salt
Optional: balsamic glaze for drizzling
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
3. Arrange brie slices evenly across the flatbread.
4. Top with pear slices and sprinkle with toasted pecans and thyme.
5. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden and crisp.
6. Remove from oven, drizzle with honey and optional balsamic glaze.
7. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Substitute apples for pears for a different seasonal twist.
Add prosciutto for a savory balance or arugula on top after baking for freshness.
Pairs beautifully with a glass of white wine or sparkling cider.
