Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Heat until boiling.
- Stir in the flour until a dough forms and mix well.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time until the dough is smooth.
- Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Pipe small bites of dough onto parchment paper, spacing them out.
- Lightly spray the churro bites with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix the remaining sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Once cooked, roll the churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Best served warm. Can be enjoyed plain or with chocolate sauce/caramel for dipping.
