- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 6–8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (about 110 grams)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (about 1 ounce / 28 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped green onions or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bacon until crisp in a skillet over medium heat (8-10 minutes). Transfer to paper towels to drain and crumble.
- Pat dry the chicken breasts with paper towels to ensure even cooking.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the crockpot and spread the cream cheese mixture over it.
- Top with half of the cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
- 15 minutes before serving, add the remaining cheddar cheese and bacon, covering to melt.
- Shred the chicken in the crockpot, stir to combine with the sauce, and garnish with green onions or parsley if desired.
Notes
For a spicy twist, add buffalo sauce to the cream cheese mixture or try different cheeses.
