- 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Start by cooking the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set it aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until it is golden brown and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
- Using the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir gently, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until it melts and blends into the sauce.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the cooked fettuccine and chicken slices to the skillet. Toss everything together gently to coat the pasta and chicken with the creamy sauce.
- Once everything is well mixed and heated through, it’s time to serve. Dish out the creamy chicken fettuccine Alfredo onto plates and garnish each serving with chopped parsley.
