Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
1/2 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
1/4 cup milk
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
**Crumble Topping:**
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp cold butter, cubed
**Vanilla Glaze:**
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
3. Cut in cold butter with a pastry cutter or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together sour cream, milk, egg, and vanilla.
5. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined (do not overmix).
6. Turn dough onto a floured surface, shape into an 8-inch circle, and cut into 8 wedges.
7. Place scones on baking sheet.
8. Combine crumble ingredients with a fork until crumbly, then sprinkle over scones.
9. Bake for 16–18 minutes until golden brown.
10. Cool slightly, then drizzle with vanilla glaze before serving.

Swap sour cream for buttermilk for a tangy twist.
