- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Water
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare an 8-inch square baking pan by greasing it.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then blend in the oil, water, sugar, and vanilla.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Combine the flour mixture with the wet mixture until no flour streaks remain.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool the brownies in the pan for at least 10 minutes, then cut into squares.
