Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top.
