- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Before serving, sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top.
Notes
Serve warm for breakfast or brunch with butter, coffee, or fresh fruit. Store leftovers tightly wrapped for up to 2 days at room temperature or freeze for longer storage.
