- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until thoroughly combined.
- In another bowl, mix the milk, large egg, and melted butter until smooth.
- Gently combine the wet and dry mixtures, stirring until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon together for the cinnamon swirl.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and grease it with butter or oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet, then add a spoonful of the cinnamon swirl mixture on top.
- Using a toothpick or knife, gently swirl the cinnamon mix into the pancake batter.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth for the glaze.
- Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the pancakes and serve warm with additional toppings if desired.
