Description
Delicious cookie dough-covered strawberries dipped in smooth chocolate, perfect for parties or a simple treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cookie dough
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for melting chocolate)
- Sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Prepare your cookie dough according to package instructions or your favorite homemade recipe. Make sure it’s chilled to make it easier to work with.
- Wash the strawberries under cold water and gently hull them to remove the green tops.
- Take a small piece of cookie dough and flatten it slightly. Wrap this piece around each strawberry, ensuring the whole berry is covered.
- Place the cookie dough-coated strawberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze them for about 30 minutes.
- Combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, heating them in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until the mixture is smooth.
- Dip each frozen, cookie dough-covered strawberry into the melted chocolate. Tap gently to remove excess chocolate.
- Sprinkle colorful decorations on top of the chocolate before it hardens.
- Refrigerate the decorated strawberries until the chocolate hardens completely, usually about 30 minutes.
- Serve the strawberries chilled and enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of vanilla extract to the melted chocolate.
