Ingredients
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 small onion, finely diced
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crushed crackers (optional for topping)
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, mix together both soups, chicken broth, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
3. Stir in uncooked rice and onion until combined.
4. Pour the mixture into the baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Top with shredded chicken and sprinkle cheese over the top.
6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
7. Remove foil, add breadcrumb topping if desired, and drizzle with melted butter.
8. Bake uncovered for an additional 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
9. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
