Description

A comforting casserole with tender chicken, nutritious broccoli, and a creamy sauce topped with crunchy breadcrumbs.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken and steamed broccoli.
  3. Add cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well.
  4. Stir in lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
  6. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can be prepared and frozen before baking for up to 3 months.
