- 2 grilled chicken breasts
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 4 slices of bread (your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Mash the avocado in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer the grilled chicken, followed by the mashed avocado and shredded cheese.
- Place the other two slices of bread on top with the buttered side facing up to form two sandwiches.
- Grill in a preheated skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.
Notes
For an extra kick, add sliced jalapeños or try different types of bread for varied flavors.
