Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Bread

Description

A delightful comfort food combining creamy Alfredo sauce and tender chicken, all tucked inside a warm loaf of bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 loaf of French bread (or Italian bread)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  3. Make a deep cut down the center of the loaf of bread to create a pocket while keeping the bottom intact.
  4. Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture into the bread pocket and pack it in well.
  5. Drizzle the outside of the stuffed bread with olive oil.
  6. Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes to warm up the filling and meld the flavors.
  8. Unwrap the foil, increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
  10. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
