Ingredients

- 1 pound fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 grilled chicken breasts, sliced
- 4 large garlic bread loaves
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to gentle simmer while stirring.
- Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and optional nutmeg.
- Add drained fettuccine to the sauce, coating evenly.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice garlic bread loaves and hollow out the centers.
- Fill hollowed garlic bread with fettuccine Alfredo mixture.
- Bake on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes until bread is golden and crispy.
- Top with sliced grilled chicken and serve warm.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, skip the chicken and add sautéed vegetables. For a seafood version, consider adding shrimp or crab.
