- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup toffee bits

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare two 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.

- Add the eggs, whole milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined.
- Gradually stir in the boiling water to create a smooth batter.
- Divide the batter evenly between the two prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
- Remove from the oven and cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
- Once cool, slice each cake in half horizontally to create four layers.
- Layer with caramel sauce and toffee bits, repeating with remaining layers.
- Frost the entire cake with whipped cream or your choice of frosting.
- Chill the cake for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality cocoa powder and pure vanilla extract. Ensure eggs are at room temperature and mix until just combined to avoid a dense cake.
