- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
