  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it turns golden brown and has a nutty aroma.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Scoop tablespoon-sized amounts of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
