  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, stirring constantly until golden brown with a nutty aroma.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the browned butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  8. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spaced a couple of inches apart.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the centers look slightly undercooked.
  10. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
