Description
These Mint Oreo Truffles are a delightful twist on the classic Oreo ball — rich, creamy, and perfectly minty. With a smooth chocolate coating and refreshing mint flavor, they’re an irresistible no-bake treat for holidays, parties, or anytime indulgence.
Ingredients
36 Mint Oreo cookies
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
12 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, melted
White chocolate drizzle or crushed Mint Oreos for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Crush Mint Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor.
3. In a bowl, mix Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese and peppermint extract until fully combined.
4. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheet.
5. Freeze for 20–30 minutes until firm.
6. Dip chilled truffles into melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
7. Return to parchment-lined sheet and garnish with white chocolate drizzle or crushed Oreos if desired.
8. Refrigerate until chocolate is fully set.
9. Store chilled until ready to serve.
Notes
For a stronger mint flavor, add peppermint extract in very small increments.
Use milk chocolate for a sweeter coating or dark chocolate for a richer contrast.
These truffles make excellent gifts when packaged in decorative boxes.
