Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips.
  7. Scoop balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between them.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
