Description

A delightful dessert featuring caramel, bananas, and cream on a crunchy biscuit base.


Ingredients

  • 200g digestive biscuits
  • 100g unsalted butter
  • 400g sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  2. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  3. Cook the sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat for 1 to 2 hours until it becomes caramel.
  4. Pour the warm caramel over the crust and allow it to cool.
  5. Slice the ripe bananas and arrange them on top of the caramel.
  6. Whip the heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form and spread it on top of the bananas.
  7. Garnish with chocolate shavings and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.

Notes

Use ripe bananas for maximum sweetness and flavor. Refrigerate leftovers and enjoy within 2-3 days.
